Our Philosophy on Memberships

Working on your wellness and quality of life takes time and effort. A single appointment will not be enough to change a lot in your life. Just like going to the gym one time will not change your body, the same is true with improving your quality of life. In order to create lasting and meaningful change, you need to actively and consistently work on it. As a way to facilitate this consistency and make it as easy as possible for you, we offer a variety of memberships for our services. Each membership option is automatically billed monthly, so you don't have to worry about remembering to pay a bill or invoice. You are free to cancel or freeze your account at any time as long as it's 24 hours prior to your auto-renewal date. Sessions are not rolled over so make sure to use all of your sessions each month!

Step 1: Initial Assessment

During your initial assessment you will get a chance to talk to your therapist about what is bringing you in, establish a relationship with your therapist, and create a plan on how your therapist can help you. At the end of this assessment, you will get to discuss our different membership plans and pick one that best fits your current needs. You know your life best so you can choose between 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and 60 minutes for your initial assessment. Here are the prices:

30 Minutes - $60.00

45 Minutes - $90.00

60 Minutes - $120.00

Our Policy on Health Insurance

All of our therapists are in-network providers for Cigna health insurance.

If you would like for us to check your in-network benefits, please email our insurance coordinator Sophie Wright at sophie@smarttalktherapy.com with a copy of the front and back of of your insurance card, as well as your driver's license so that we can verify eligibility and give you information about your co-pay and deductible prior to starting services with Smart Talk.

If you would like for us to check your out-of-network benefits, please email our insurance coordinator Sophie Wright at Sophie@smarttalktherapy.com with a copy of the front and back of of your insurance card, as well as your driver's license. We may also need the address associated with your account, or for you to call your insurance company and provide verbal permission for your information to be released to Smart Talk. If so, call the phone number usually located on the back of your insurance card.

We accept all Cigna plans, including Cigna EAP, Cigna PPO, and HMO for people living in California, Illinois, New York, Florida, Georgia, and Hawaii.

Please Note: should you choose to use your health insurance, your health insurance will receive bills for your services that will include dates of service and a mental health diagnosis in order to have sessions reimbursed.

It is also important to remember that you are responsible to pay all co-pays at the time of service.

If you are in-network but would like to opt-out of using your insurance, please email us at info@smarttalktherapy.com so that we can send you a waiver.
