Our Philosophy on Memberships
Working on your wellness and quality of life takes time and effort. A single appointment will not be enough to change a lot in your life. Just like going to the gym one time will not change your body, the same is true with improving your quality of life. In order to create lasting and meaningful change, you need to actively and consistently work on it. As a way to facilitate this consistency and make it as easy as possible for you, we offer a variety of memberships for our services. Each membership option is automatically billed monthly, so you don't have to worry about remembering to pay a bill or invoice. You are free to cancel or freeze your account at any time as long as it's 24 hours prior to your auto-renewal date. Sessions are not rolled over so make sure to use all of your sessions each month!
Your first appointment with your therapist will be a 30 minute assessment. During this time you will get a chance to talk to your therapist about what is bringing you in, establish a relationship with your therapist, and create a plan on how your therapist can help you. At the end of this assessment, you will get to discuss our different membership plans and pick one that best fits your current needs.
4 30-Minute sessions per month.
Our wellness package is our most popular membership. This is a great option for someone who wants to have weekly appointments with their therapist.
$188 Per Month
2 30-minute sessions per month.
This is a great package for someone who is not sure about how much time they have for appointments or is looking for some accountability.
$100 per Month
Ten 30-minute sessions.
This is an ideal package for someone who is committed to creating long term change and wants consistent sessions with a therapist but doesn't have time to schedule appointments weekly. Sessions can be used over 6 months.
4 60-Minute sessions per month.
This is a great package for couples or families who understand that having more than one person present requires more time. It's also a great option for people who are actively looking to create change quickly and would like a more time intensive program.
$344 Per Month
4 30-minute sessions + ESA letter.
During your 4 sessions you will learn different ways to manage your anxiety and cope with the fear of flying. At the end of the four sessions, you will be provided with all of the paperwork that you need in order to have your pet certified as an Emotional Support Animal for airlines.
1 30-Minute session per month.
This is a great package for clients who are meeting their goals but want to maintain contact with their therapist so that they can stay on track.
$50 per Month
Our Policy on Health Insurance
Our services are all private pay for clients who live in New York, Florida, and international in order to maintain the utmost confidentiality. A lot of insurance companies require information about your mental health including a diagnosis, dates that the sessions took place, and even therapy notes. Most of our clients are high functioning adults who don't actually have a mental health diagnosis but instead just require some additional support and guidance in their everyday lives. This is why we choose to only provide private pay services. We use Square Point of Sale, a HIPAA compliant payment service that allows customers to use Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Health Savings Account (HSA) Cards, and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Cards.
Residents of California, Hawaii, Georgia, and Illinois have the option of following our private pay plan below or using their Cigna health insurance. Cigna is one of the first health insurance companies that Smart Talk is partnering with to be able to offer teletherapy to more clients.
It is important to note that should you choose to use your Cigna health insurance, your health insurance will receive bills for your services that will include dates of service and a mental health diagnosis in order to have sessions reimbursed. It is also important to remember that you are responsible to pay all co-pays at the time of service. If you wish to use your Cigna health insurance then please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with a copy of a picture ID and a photo of your insurance card (front and back) so that we can verify eligibility and give you information about your co-pay and deductible prior to starting services with Smart Talk.
